Tuesday 5th of November at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

Matthew Selt makes his Debut in the tournament having won the Indian Open to qualify and will play Mark Allen playing in it for the 6th year having missed out in 2017.

But Before that Match Mark Selby 3 times World Champion who has played in it 7 times but having won just 5 Matches in the previous 6 years up against Yan Bingtao who has beaten him 4-1 the one time they met in 2017 Welsh Open.

Who wins this one?

Mark Selby 4-0 Yan Bingtao H2H Tied at 1-1

Followed by

Mark Allen 4-2 Matthew Selt H2H Allen leads 3-1

Where's BSP? Been waiting all day for him to say "Come on Mark" so I can say "which one?", thought you could rely on him like a Swiss watch.

I wish my office had a telly.

WFH today, they only get the tv out at the office for things like football World Cup.

Neal reminds us Yan hasn't beaten a top player for a long time, but he's off to a good start after a poor break from Selby. But break ends at 17.

Yan misses the pack, foul, then opens the pack and leaves a long red for Selby which he gets. Selby playing well, the way the balls are he should win the frame in this visit...oops cue ball didn't end up where he wanted...break over on 37.

Good safety from Selby, Yan leaves a red on, Selby great red along the cushion, clears up, 2-0
