Judd was on the ropes there for a while, but a timely run off the ball sees him safely home.

Hopefully Judd will put Assange in his place tomorrow. There's only one top dog right now, and it ain't Robertson.

Must hurt to lose a match like that. It's as if the universe is against you.

Allen lost that match because he had 29% pot success from frames 1-3. He can't complain.

He fought back and had Judd on the ropes, then he gets a terrible kick and gives Judd an easy chance. Next thing you know Judd bucks up again but gets an outrageous fluke. You have to feel for Mark there.

Judd needs to up his game if he wants to beat Robbo, didn't think he was that good tonight.

Allen isn't usually one to complain. He'll be honest and say he wasn't good enough early on, and that's what cost him.

I think even if he's not at his best, he's still capable of winning tomorrow. He basically won evey match in the World Open with his C game. He's playing better than that this week.

There was a lot of luck involved says Judd. He's got that right. Nice to see him admit he had the run of the balls.

Wow - yet another final for Judd!
Only Selby has dominated like this in recent years.
We had the Hednry era, the Selby era and now we have the Judd era.
Long live the king!!!!!!!!!
I'm loving this

Allen wasn't unlucky at all. He played 3 bad shots which cost him the match.
He was leading 4-3 and on a break and played a bad positional shot which meant he needed the rest and he apparently got a kick on that shot. If he hadn't played such a bad positional shot he wouldn't have got the kick.
At 4-4 he was on a break and looking like winning the frame but he somehow conspired to lose the cue ball which meant he had to settle for a 40 point lead. Later on in the frame Trump fluked the penultimate red which set up his clearance. But Trump should never have been able to see the red. Allen played a very bad safety shot when Trump should have been fully snookered.
These 3 shots were elementary errors and Allen deserves no sympathy.
This week has been a crying shame because an Allen vs Reanne Evans would have been desirable and a 'Plan B' required between sessions for either or both players...
