Its a real pity Hamilton wasn't around to send Wilson home or we could have had a really interesting top half, Higgins with an easy route again we can all see it coming

Terrible defeat for Allen this one. He played very well and even made 5 centuries but came up short against a journeyman who played the match of his life.
Higgins will be happy though. He has the ideal draw now to get to the semis at the very least.
