When did the semis last have players of this quality?
Raid the orchard lad
Maybe last year.
An underachieving Gilbert, a relative nobody in Gary Wilson and a John Higgins in the worst form of his career.
So all top 16 then
wilson has never been in the top16.i think he was seeded 32
my error - point stands

What do you mean scored? Peck on the cheek and she went home? If you really scored you wouldn't be on your phone right now, you'd be in an entangled sweaty mess. Or are things different now?
By scored he means she didn’t kick him in the nuts.

Ronnie made 5 century breaks in this MJW match.
It didnt seem that many for some reason.
He was 7-2 and 8-4 down. His fighting qualities impressed me the most.

He has an equal chance as long as he plays to a reasonable level. I'd be more doubtful if his ranking really started to plummet and he had to do quallies.

Yeah - I misunderstood.
Just think this is an amazing opportunity now and he has to seize it.

And amazingly the one he lost was to Graeme Dott.
To be fair I would totally understand that, even the most patient version of Mark Selby would be bored out of his skull over a best of 33 with Graeme Dott.

It’s a shame the top half of the draw is so rubbish. Imagine Ronnie vs Selby and Judd vs Higgins. Would have been a quality semi-final lineup.

Obviously but his form is patchy and he's against a tough opponent. Next year he could play well and still lose, he's far from flying in this tournament is all I'm saying.

You just left yourself wide open to some kind of "No,
yours" response
