You have to be an expert in mathematical lateral thinking problems just to understand the situation, never mind make a good decision.
Probably for the best that I just took the refund.
I'd only booked it at short notice anyway, so hadn't been looking forward to it all year or anything.
I'm even nervous about my trip to Milton Keynes in November.

I suppose it helps if you’re (relatively) local and / or have access to a car.
If it’s no to either of those, you’re really playing russian roulette as to whether you’ll get a roof over your head between sessions (& that’s given that you could, potentially, sleep in your car as a last resort).
I’m glad i’m not in a position where I have to make a choice.

Yeah, I guess.
I had a hotel pre-booked, but are they open, how will they ensure social distancing etc?
Surely, if you were given the choice between this year and next, everybody would pick next?

I work for a hotel company so getting a room will be fairly easy for me. I really don’t know what to do

Is there any chance you can specify that you want to go next year and not this?

Yea by choosing Option 2.
I have bought a couple of front row tickets this year and don't particularly want to be told I have to sit at the back instead.

Surely it's a no-brainer then?
You don't want to be stuck in a crowded room at this time of year, do you?

Probably for the best; at least we don't know who is going to win next year.

Only Chinese players are going to win from now on.

And Robbo, UK domination is over

Until I hear it from Pinkie, I will take that with a pinch of salt.

About time Robertson did something at The Crucible. It's been ten years since he won it. He's been to the one table setup once since then, in 2014. ( I had to check that to remind myself of it.) At least Murphy, who won it 15 years ago, has been to the final twice since.
Just feels like Robertson needs to do better in Sheffield.

Apparently ‘See Tickets’ who my sister booked with have finally given the option of transfer to next year, so I’m doing that. Hurrah

That's definitely the safe choice.
If I'd have been sure I'd get that option, I'd have thought about going for that. I was given basically; "Money back or we give you the tickets for the unknown time the tournament is going to be held." The refund was only available for a week.

Hopefully next year won’t be 4th wave of covid killing 1000 a day, no more lockdowns, refunds etc.
