Jack Lisowski can’t be your wildcard unfortunately as he is in the Top 16.
If you still want to select a wildcard, feel free to name a player outside the Top 16 before the start of the British Open.

OK. Sorry about that. Can I have Lu Ning as my wildcard instead please?

Only just seen the PM. Seems unfair to pick anyone who played yesterday and won, therefore I choose:
Kyren Wilson, Shaun Murphy

Your team wouldn’t be eligible for the British Open anyway because it’s already started.
You can select a fresh team on this occasion if you want and I won’t “charge” you a swap. It would be eligible for the NI Open, looking at the calendar.

After the British Open, the following posters have scored points:
SnookerEd: 3 (Mark Williams)
Congratulations to SnookerEd who picked the first winner of the season!
Very hard luck to
Juddernaut who has Gary Wilson as his Wildcard and came very close to bagging himself 10 points.

A couple of months now to consider your team foe the NI Open.
Qualifiers are not included so you don’t need to pick before then.
All swaps are now reset to zero so you can swap each of your players from the British Open round once. By my reckoning it’s only Pink Ball and Prop who swapped.
I will confirm everybody’s current team in the coming days.

Just to confirm, those players that picked a wildcard prior to the British Open are now stuck with that wildcard for the rest of the season?

That’s correct.
Wildcards may now not be picked by any current or new players.

Should make it quite interesting. But I’m happy with the fact I haven’t backed myself to pick a lower-ranked tournament winner

Imagine if Judders loses out on the top spot at the end of the season because he loses 3 points for Gary Wilson, after coming two frames away from winning 10 points!

Too late to change teams I’m afraid as the tournament’s underway.
My fault, I’ve had some rubbish going on and haven’t been thinking about this.

I thought my initial selection was only for The British Open?
This only got bumped up now as well, I completely forgot about it as did everyone else.
