He's the king of prediction contests and I'd have made him slight favourite at the start because of that. But he has had a miserable run of it.

That's cause he chose Selbo as his star player.

I have to say, I didn’t know how this would go, but I’ve really enjoyed running it so far. It gets a huge amount of views. It seems to fly up every time a tournament is running. Hope it keeps going as it has.

One issue I can see is that it might not be interactive enough. Sometimes I forget who was on my team. But I think allowing transfers in future would be far too messy.

One change I might make is that tournaments with finals shorter than best-of-17, such as Riga and Gibraltar only carry half points. Riga was the highest-scoring tournament of the year so far, but a lot of that is to do with the field being weak. It could be overtaken by the World Open this week, but that’s fine by me as it was a strong field and lower-ranked players cut through that.

That’s the kind of thing I want this competition to reward.

There might also be space for tournaments such as the UK, International, China Open, Players Championship and Tour Championship carrying a higher weighting in future editions.

But again, that’s a discussion for next year.

Re: Think Pink 2019

Postby Iranu

I think allowing teams to swap a certain number of players say between the Scottish Open and The Masters would be easy enough (but then I’m not the one who’d have to keep track of it).

I have to say though I like it as it is, just ticking over from tournament to tournament.
