As a language quirk, Wu Yize and Ng On Yee have the same family name.

Ng didn't just win, but she won convincingly, with 2 one-visit wins, one of which had the potential for a 147 up until the 9th red. No century but one 84 and one 82 is as good as and far outweighed her opponent who could only manage two 50+ breaks, one in the 50s and one in the 60s.

While the match was strewn with errors from both, Ng was the one who showed the nerve and skill when it most mattered and there was no flummoxing when it came to frame balls, even tough ones.
