Pity this has qualifiers.

I guess that's price you pay for longer matches.

A disgrace last year. Best of fives? Best of eleven final? Gone now.

Chances for Barry Pinches and Rock Steady Steadman to pick up rare wins.

Selby, Trump and the Ronster all with tricky first round ties.

I've just had a thought.

Will Discovery+ have the qualifiers for this, as it's an ITV4 tournament?

Following on from a first meeting with Ronnie O'Sullivan in the opening group stage of the Championship League then encountering Anthony McGill in the European Masters, Alexander Ursenbacher has a strong claim for having received the hardest draws of anyone so far this season.

I think after this pandemic and Australia Being as Tight as a prisonar camp for 2 years Neil has obviously got a lot of catching up to Do.

But from a Snooker perspective, it will make it difficult for him to make up Ground when he comes back to get in the ITV Events.

Ronnie failed a few years ago of making up ground there's no guarantee once you start playing everything will click.

Bingham, McGill, Selby and Murphy will have to enter everything, at least early season to make sure they are in the top 16 come the end of the season.

If Selby has the same season as last season he will be comfortably inside the top 20 i expect so much more from him than last he will be inside the top 8 by the end of the season Top 4 will be harder to get to from the starting point hes in but who writing him off winning a 5th world title only fools would do that.
