It's not possible not to have one.

If one of the players injured themselves during the dinner break so that they had to withdraw then there would be no evening session.

Would it count as an evening session if Ken and Hendry did an exhibition?

Is that a euphemism for a twiddle?

No. Dinner. And you could have had one too, if you learned how to turn an oven on and stick something in it for half an hour :hmmm:

Seems Ronnie is really applying Davis’ “Play like it means nothing when it means everything” philosophy lately.

Indeed it was. 3 big breaks after Judd put pressure on him, you can't ask for more than that.

Really? I’d make Judd 70/30 favourite.

Judd's 147 was only the second ever made against Ronnie. The first was made in 1997 by Stephen Hendry, in the decider of the Charity Challenge final...

Well played Judd, but left himself with too much to do in the end.

Admittedly helped by Judd’s level dropping off again. I don’t think Ronnie created any of his own chances did he? Judd left him in.

Still have to score though, and after Judd pulled it back to make those breaks was class.

In fairness, based on their form until today I still think it was a fair call!

Didn't see any of this final so can't comment on either players performance or anything like that.

But it's an important win for O'Sullivan. Obviously not as important as last May, but after Trump had won a number of finals in recent seasons its important that O'Sullivan respond with a few wins of his own.

No. That would be an exhibition in lieu of an evening session.

It's not easy to be ranked 87th in the World Grand Prix rankings when you're the defending champion, World champion, Hong Kong Masters champion, and Champion of Champion champion...

Whats important is that you want to keep winning titles as the current World Champ and World number 1. And show everyone you're the best. And the CoC is a tournament with high reputation. Arguably its the first really big tournament of the season. The next is around the corner.

Technically the outcome of a single match would in sufficient to refute the original claim. Even if O'Sullivan only had only a three in ten chance, that would still happen quite a lot!
