The Magician vs. the Warrior.
Sounds like a role-playing, fantasy board game...

Murphy to win 10:5 or 10:6. Expecting Kyrens level to drop by some margin. Maybe not to the degree of a Barry Hawkins like performance but still enough for Murphy to take the win.

It’s probably what Robbo’s doing as we speak, instead of practicing for the Worlds.

Until 5am, while commanding his MMORPG army of goblins and ogres to victory on his custom gaming PC, his family becoming increasingly distant as his skin turns more pale and his brain flickers with the embers of his dying soul.

I'm tending towards predicting Murphy.
I want Kyren to win though.

Slightly favouring Kyren, but hoping for an entertaining match, and a close, late-night finish.

The thing that gets me is that such a big thing was made of his ‘computer game addiction’, yet here we are a few years later and he’s tweeting about the new Diablo game, and clearly ball deep in this apparently debilitating habit once again.
So, what is it? Has he relapsed? Was he in recovery and now he’s back in active addiction? Did he ever see recovery as a lifelong path, or did he feel ‘cured’ after a couple of weeks of abstinence? Or, perhaps, the term ‘addiction’ is thrown around a little too casually now, to somehow explain or justify a generally unproductive habit or pattern of behaviour.

Maybe he wasn't actually addicted? He just used the term colloquially to mean he plays too much?

This is my point. It’s not that I’m saying gaming addiction isn’t a thing, just that he’s not exactly behaving like a recovering addict. He’s back at it. So if it
is a genuine addiction - and he is truly an addict - well, he’s relapsed. And it seems like a complete non-issue to him.

Yes. It would probably be a bit weird walking around refereeing with her face like the smiling picture.
