Poor Neil. Not only does he have to qualify for the Crucible, but if he make it through he'll have to face Ronnie in the first round...

this is a massive body blow to Robbo. He bottled this you have to say. Great chances in frame 10 and 11.

Police had to escort Ding out. Looked like some fans wanted to jump him.

Hearn wouldn't be able to resist "randomly" drawing Neil to face Ronnie.

Great result. Hopefully he can take a bit of momentum into the Final against the Duke.

Unfortunately for Robbo, as brilliant a scorer he is, he just can’t handle distraction. Like I said in another thread recently, everything has to be just so for him to settle - tidy table, silent crowd, everyone remembering to pause breathing while he’s down on a shot.
Crowds like that are infuriating, and anyone playing in front of that has a right to be angry. But if they’re a top professional they also need to find a way of blocking it all out.

A solid fist pump in the end. Ding was yawning and looked like he wasn't up for it 100% but I guess when you get the chance to win adrenaline kicks in and the competitive instincts.
