Tickets for Telford on sale tomorrow

Following the outstanding success of the Johnstone’s Paint Players Championship, the tournament will return to the Telford International Centre in 2025, with tickets on sale from 12pm on Tuesday (February 27).

Fans have packed the arena throughout this week to see snooker’s biggest stars battling for the title. Mark Allen faces Zhang Anda in Sunday’s final. Many sessions across the seven-day event were sold out.

This was the first WST event staged in Telford since 2010, and given the tremendous support of the local fans, the decision has already been made to return to the same venue next season.

The 2025 Players Championship will run from March 17-23. Once again the top 16 players from the one-year rankings will qualify.

Book tickets fast from just £28 (plus booking fees). And for the first time, you can book Premium Tickets, with the chance to guarantee a seat within the first three rows, even on days when seating is otherwise unallocated. not really? the earlier they can start selling the tickets the more likely they are to sell more. worlds, masters etc go on sale a year in advance already.

I suppose. Though they're big events.

Selling tickets for an event 13 months in advance is annoying. Do I buy them now, in case they sell out months in advance? Or do I wait and see?

purchase the tickets now and either sell them on an exchange or return them if you decide against going?
(obviously check the t and cs first).

I doubt they will sell like hot cakes. You can probably wait until the summer at least.

Interesting choice of dates.

Leaves little room for manoeuvre to cram in another ranking event followed by the Tour Championship before World qualifying begins.
