You thinking of going?
No I'm going to the quarters finals. Don't think I could wrangle going down twice.
It was a joke referencing Robertson's previous claim about the crampt nature of the Crucible.

I think the answer is 2...
You would expect him to reach the Crucible based on his current form. Unless someone plays out of his skin.

Top 16 seeding possibilities (I think) as follows:
Brecel 1
Ronnie 2-3
Trump 2-4
Allen 3-4
Selby 5
Ding 6-7
Murphy 7-9
Carter 6-12
Williams 6-12
Zhang 6-12
G Wilson 6-12
K Wilson 12-14
Higgins 7-15
Ford 8-15
Hawkins 8-15
Milkins 16
already top quarter looks weakest, Ding likely to face Ronnie or Trump in quarters, with a Ronnie and Trump likely to be in same half.
Selby and Ronnie in opposite halfs.
If Robbo qualifies where he lands in draw could also make a massive difference......

Jack Lisowski might have to play Walden or Jimmy Robertson or Mark Joyce or Martin Gould to get to the Cruce based upon current rankings.

Higgins - this could be the last time he is seeded unless he has a good 24-25 season. He has 100k still to come off at the end of the season.
Needs a deep run really. First round exit could spell the end for the wizard.

Think Yuan Sijun is 37 ahead of Cao Yupeng on checkback.
Ken Doherty is 78, Fan Zhengyi 51.
More tricky to predict the 32 players allotted to positions 81-112. Question marks over the participation of Martin Gould and Muhammad Asif given recent absences whilst Asjad Iqbal hasn't been seen since the European Masters. Ryan Thomerson, Anton Kazakov and Andrew Pagett the three most interested parties.

In order to qualify, N. Robertson will have to beat one of Ishpreet Singh Chadha, Zak Surety, or an even lower-ranked player, followed by one of Alfie Burden, Xu Si, Jamie Jones, or an even-lower ranked player.
