The only man missing from that line up is Ding Junhui but he was beaten by Ronnie O'Sullivan so couldn't be in the semi finals.

Come on robbo

I knew you would be GJ, and if Robbo beats Ronnie can't imagine how you will be, so in a way it's even better that Ding lost because your favourite player now has the chance to beat him. :john:

I think it will be close, but this win will give Ronnie massive confidence and he'll be well up for it. Though if Robbo wins then good for him because a Robbo v Selby final would be very tasty.

Think Robbo can take Ronnie. He's playing his best snooker of his career imo, (unless he was absolutely awesome before 2011) and has a decent H2H ignoring league rubbish and is one of the toughest players mentally.

I may be slightly biased though.

I think it'll be a good final whoever comes through the second semi, although I'd prefer Robbo, just to mix things up a bit. This only applies if Mark wins, because, no offense to Stuart, Bingo would get mullered.

Last thing before I go to bed tonight

Effective H2H (excludes League and 6 Reds)

Selby 8-6 Bingo
ROS 5-4 Robbo

ROS 7-6 Selby
ROS 7-1 Bingo
Bingo 4-1 Robbo
Selby 3-3 Robbo

PS Wild, link for Selby v Robbo goes to Selby v Ronnie page on Cue Tracker.

You could be right. Certainly, I don't think Ronnie can afford to give Robbo a three frame head start like he gave to Ding today. Ronnie will have to be sharp throughout.

Remember Jewel Ronnie was 3 nil down to Robbo 2010 Masters first round, got to the MSI 3-1 down and won the match 6-4. But the way Robbo is playing this season I agree with you, no way will Robbo lose with an advantage like that.

Mark Selby vs Stuart Bingham:

I would like Stuart to win if Ronnie wins his match but I want Mark to win if Ronnie loses. I think Bingo will give Selby a match, but somehow I doubt he'll keep up with Selby tomorrow. But then again Bingham nearly had him in this years Masters.

Ronnie O'Sullivan vs Neil Robertson:

These two played in a PTC a couple of weeks ago, but that match has little meaning. Neil played like it was an exhibition, tomorrow with a big crowd and actual pressure involved it will be a very different match. I fancy Ronnie to take it because of the way he came back against Ding.

Scared that Selby would beat Ronnie yet again if they met in the final aren't you SO? I know what you mean, and in a way Bingo winning would be better, but another Selby v Ronnie showdown would be tasty and if Ronnie beat him all the better.

If not then Robbo v Selby would be a cracker.

Well Ronnie said in that ITV interview that he did enjoy playing Selby last week. Beating Selby in a big final would be fantastic but if Ronnie comes through that tough Robertson match, I still would like him to have an easier opponent in the final. Because in the end a title is a title...

Yes agree, if he faces Selby then so be it, but as we know full well their matches are 50/50 and if it gets close Selby has the advantage in most of them, so yeah.

Wouldn't be ironic SO that after saying this Bingo beat Ronnie in the final? rofl

[quote="SnookerFan"]The beer is in the fridge. I'm not going anywere.

Give me a few cans SnookerFan,after what happened last night,i need a few!.

Nah,in all seriousness,i truly admit i was really really hissed off!.

What a chance that was for Ding to send Ronnie packing, just as well i,m not a Ding FAN,otherwise i,d of probably needed a week to recover!. <laugh>

When Ding went 3-0 up,i knew there was still a chance for Ronnie to come back,in which he indeed did.
Ding started to let the odd mistake creep in here n there.

The fluke from Ronnie did,nt help,it could hardly of come at a better time,if i remember correctly, thanks to that fluke,he went on to win the frame from it.He was extremely lucky in the decider as well,Ding layed a brilliant snooker behind the black,Ronnie hit the blue but it went safe, then 2 times he went for the blue,he got away with it,in saying that, yes he did leave Ding a chance to pot the blue, but they were horrible shots to have to play, especially under the circumstances,it being the deciding frame,of coure they were pottable and one could argue that he should of at least potted 1 of those chances but as i say,Ronnie could of left those 2 chances easier.

As Sonny wrote though,..."I liked McManus suggestion at 5-3, Ding had the chance to win 6-3 but missed a trick, if he'd potted pink on blue spot then held the spot he'd have had a red to corner, he just didn't think of it and played a bad shot instead. That was costly".

Absolutely Sonny!.

One could argue about that too,If Ding had of done that, then he might have gone on from there and won the match and it would,nt have gone to a decider,Ding could have gone on to beat Ronnie 6-3,i,ve said it before, one could go on forever, going on about IF,S n BUTS,SHOULDS,COULDS,but at the end of the day,it,s the result that counts and Ronnie won,end of!.

I,ll be on GJ,s side for once ,i,ll be rootin for Robbo,(although Robbo was also a bit lucky and should,ve been kicked out,not only by Gould, but by Carter too!). ;-)

Anyway,....COME ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN ROBBO,don,t do a Mavis and Don,t do a Ding !.

Also, I'm saving my beer. Just in case I relent and buy the Carl Froch fight.

Besides it's Fosters, don't Australians hate Fosters? I got stuck next to an Australian bloke at a party once who spent like an hour once telling me how Fosters weren't sold in Australia any more, how disgusting he thought it was and why he thought the adverts shouldn't pretend it was a really Australian loved drink. <laugh>

I should've just told him to buck off and get a drink he liked then.

I only really saw bits and bobs of the Ronnie match, but was gutted for Ding. Did think he'd do it at 3-0 up. Gutted who do you think will win, sir? For once I might side with you, as I'm rooting for Robbo.

Very confident of a robbo win

But i always am

I felt a bit bad for Ding yesterday, so wouldn't mind a Robbo win.

But you got to give credit to Ronnie. Many have complained about his temprement over the years, myself included. Going 3-0 down and winning is impressive from Ronnie. Not because anybody doubts his skills. More because he doesn't always dig in.
