Hopefully McManus can finish the job.
A Walden win will help secure Luca's top 64 place.

Apparently one of the members of One Direction was at the Ronnie match on Saturday. They snuck him in.
I wouldn't have recognised him if he was sat next to me, to be fair.

I'm off to the Crucible today, for my first trip this year.
Off to see Hawkins v Gilbert this aft, quite nice working in a school, and the World Championships fall right into half term

Good man.
Out of interest, what did you think of Xiao's shoes on Sunday? You being a shoe fan, of course.

Actually I agree with judd and have said the same recently. The crucible is too small and it needs to move on. I know that's not popular with you guys so ill brace myself :) interesting if you click the poll at the bottom of link 36% say move and 64% say no.

Quote from that link:
The contract is up next year – and there have even been suggestions that China is lining up a multi-million pound bid to grab the event.
If this is true would that not be a great move for snooker?

I'd have thought No would be higher than 64% to be honest.
Those 36% have never been to The Crucible.

Hearn said himself only a couple of days ago that he won't move the Worlds as long as he's in charge. End of story.

I didn't see the first session, but I don't think he's the player he once was.
3 years ago, I'd have bet my left nut-sack that Higgins would win this from behind. Nowadays I'm a lot more cautious.

Even if it had the potential to go to a packed 20,000 venue with 1 million pounds for the winner? I wonder what the players would say about that.

@so I don't think so but we all know how much of a battler he is. Strange thing is thou, I reckon right now alan would give a better account of himself in the quarter and possible semi than Higgins right now.

I admire your cool
Because just like in the last 2 years it's not a young, hungry player who is causing him trouble but players who are even older than him, Hendry, M. Davis and now McManus.
I would be reeling if this would be happening to Ronnie.

Wow Gouldy hasn't potted a ball this morning
Fu at the moment unstopable
He'll want to put those defeats at the hands of Gouldy here in the right place.
