Tricky for Allen. Not on a colour and has to cover two reds near corners.

That was a silly shot... Taylor is right... He needed to roll up to it and Chinese snooker Robbo... but doing that just left an easier cut back.

Robbo should played the pink. However it's unlikely Allen will win the frame from here.

Agree 8 all and they share the session again, and that will give Allen a boost.

9-7 is game on regardless. We all saw that with Perry...

Chance for Robbo again. Could be the first time someone takes a two frame lead in the match.

Kick! Bit early in the frame but that could be a let off for Allen.

I think this year the standard of commentating from the BBC is the worst ever. "Oh, that red doesn't pot"-It DOES! "No, not in"- it IS in! Then there are the times when you see the shot they will play almost immediately and the commentators can't see it until the player actually gets down to play the shot.

That's why I like Davis, he calls big shots before I've thought of them or the players have got down. Folk like Taylor and Griff couldn't play half the shots of today, so it's no surprise they get so much wrong, commenting on a game they've hardly played.

Sod's law, Robbo will make the 100 in an afternoon or morning match when i can't watch it.
Hope he makes it in an evening session though at the quarters/semis.

Robbo goes 9-7, barring snookers.
Think that's a fair reflection as Robbo was much better in the latter part of the session.

Maybe, but I think 8-8 would have been fair, think Robbo got the run of the ball.

Davis is OK, but I think Eurosport have the best commentators, Foulds is really good.

I find Griffiths quite biased if some of his lads are playing.

Have a feeling Foulds (and Yates) are done for the championship. And Angles progressing to the quarters means they go without him as well.
Wonder why ES never considering asking Clive?

What a great session.
But Robertson is still far from safe. In 2009 Ronnie also won the last 2 frames of the second session to go 9-7 up and I thought that must be enough, Ronnie won't let this lead slip.
Allen is extremely dangerous.

Allen is dangerous but he was 7-6 up and Robbo leads 9-7 overnight. Robbo now strong favourite to face Selby in the semi-final.
