Bad etiquette from Ebbo and he would not do that to other pros who would give him an earful.

that really is poor stuff from him

It's all part of the psychology of top level sport. If Zhang lets something like that get to him, he is in the wrong profession im afraid.

that's not part of Psychology its like a football team walking off for half time with 5 minutes of the half to go.

I'd argue what Ebdon did was worse.

A football team who walks off five minutes to go, is only harming people involved in that football club. This would count as forfeiting the game, and the opposing team would be awarded the match.

Peter Ebdon is attempting to bully a younger play, and rile him up. It's not psychology, it's bullying. And it says something about Ebdon's confidence in winning, if he has to pull stupid stunts like this in an attempt to gain an advantage.

Hopefully he'll be fined.

It seems like the frame was over, if only the black was left on the table.

How about O'Sullivan walking out on Hendry? O'Sullivan conceding a frame against Perry with about 10 reds left on the table in the UK 2008? O'Sullivan conceding a frame to Ebdon in the 2004 Irish Masters when Ebdon was on a 30 break with 11 reds left on the table? O'Sullivan conceding a frame against Andy Hicks in the 2004 Worlds when Hicks was at the table and on a break?

I think players should be able to concede a frame whenever they want, regardless of the score. I cannot wait for the day when O'Sullivan is on 104, and going for a 147 and his opponent comes to the table and throws the remaining balls around the table.

Apart from that, let's give Ebdon a 3 year ban. That will teach him a harsh lesson. :-D

No matter what you think should be allowable, when a player is at the table and still potting the frame remains LIVE. Zhanger was addressing the black ball and there was Ebdon placing his cue case on the corner of the table. It was clear bullying and bad sportsmanship. Nothing new from Ebdon.

Ref. 1 - WC match vs Stephen Lee - decides to shout "come on, come on" WTF was he playing at. Intimidation, plain and simple.

Ref.2 - GP match vs Jamie Cope - abuse of ref and then feints to the floor, rolling around, play acting. Trying to put off Cope for his next shot.

He knows he is unlikely to be harmed as he is in with Murphy and Murphy's dad was on the board.

Etiquette is very important in snooker. Mr Ebdon continually breaks the rules of etiquette. <ok>
