no guarantee anyone can play well there
Correct but Ding only had 1 good run in his entire career at the Crucible. Players like Robertson or Trump are more likely to perform there than Ding, don't you agree?

Ding is one of my favourite players. However i got a hunch that J.Higgins might come out of this.

I do, definately.
I still say his best chance will be when it moves from Crucible to somewhere else, China potencially.
He now seems to perform much better in China than what he did.

Gary Wilson started this season at 67th in a 2 year tour card and if he wins today hes up to 40th.

I saw Higgins vs Ding at The Masters one year.
I also yesterday's match, Higgins vs Tramp when they played at The Crucible a few years back.

there is the inconsistency again, poor position from green meant really tough red and the chance is gone....

he doesn't score like he used to score and if someone on Form he will be beaten however if someone doesn't do the business he has the game to counter attack.
"John Higgins is the New Steve Davis".
I wunder if John would like that comparison.
