Hope Allen can win against Mags tonight and earn a Semi meeting with Kyren.

Didn't know the Players Championship Grand Finals are gonna be broadcast by ITV.
So next year they have the Shoot-Out, Grand Finals, WGP and CoC.

That means that it won't be broadcast by Eurosport, like CoC?

No, most likely it will be like the WGP which was broadcast by ITV and ES.

It's absolutely amazing these two experienced players, apart from CL and Shoot-Out, have only met twice in professional play.
Once in a 2006 Group phase Grand Prix which was Best of 5, and the other at the China Open 2010 which Allen won.
So one could say their only proper meeting was the China Open. Just amazing!

Anyway, if both play like they did this afternoon, we are in for a treat.
Hoping for an Allen win.

Me too. But not much in it. Bit of a battle of the tossers.
Though, as I am there on Saturday, I kind of prefer Mags to Mark Allen. He's slightly less tosserish.

Don't mind who wins this. Probably slightly edge towards Allen.

Is Front Row Bryan there tonight?
I'm trying to watch out for him at the England game, but thought he might not be here.

Would like to know one sucessful comeback Mags has had in his career... the only one I remember is being 4-2 down to Judd at German Masters.

Only 8-7 behind though. Not really a comeback.
Edit: Sorry he was 8-7 ahead at one point. The worst off he was in that match was 7-5 behind though.

Against Day on 2014 Worlds, too.
Now, he lost position just before the frame ball....

Great pot by Allen. And there's nothing safe...
If he takes this frame, Mags is finished.

And four out of last five years. Lost in 2011 to Hawkins in a decider as well.
