If Selby loses this, who has to do what in the Ronnie vs Selby battle for World Number 1?

Ronnie needs to win the worlds with Selby losing in the semifinals at the latest. If Selby makes the final with Ronnie winning, Selby'll still be leading by about 12k

Okay, thanks.
And if Selby wins the China Open, he's WN1 regardless, yeah?

Not a bad time to tune in. What a great break. Looking good for my preferred final match up of Selby v Hawkins.

"One of the best breaks I've ever seen under the cosh."
Oh buck off, it was a clearance you'd expect him to make.
Hyperbole.

Commentators do that all the time. It's not exclusive to Selby.

If Selby lost first round, Ronnie could close the gap to 10k but yeah.

Is it that big a deal who is world num 1? Obviously it is for some. I couldn't tell you where any of the players are ranked.

Heard Hallet say Selby will finish the snooker season as World Num 1 for the 7th consecutive season if he wins this.
