Who?
Not an obvious dominant current tour player but my money is on Little Ben Mertens.
You heard it here first.

Murphy confuses Gilbert and Wilson. That should give him a job at the BBC for life.

Doubt it. Can only see it being a Chinese player.
It's the reason Willians, Higgins and Ronnie are so good, they where exposed to snooker it at it's most popular. With Snooker not as popular or available as it was in the 80s it's hard to see happening.
In China it's very popular, possibly. Not that I like a big pool of players but s.o. might have to lead the sport.

Why did that pick have to beat Wattana in his last match before death?

I want him to win the tournament out of these 8 players.
I was just thinking the same.
You might want to choose someone else. If I want Gilbert to win, he’ll lose.

Kyren Wilson could win the frame from a massive fluke. Sickener for Gilbert.

I think there'll always be British winners especially when big events are played here. Hard to see 3 players of the quality of Williams, Higgins and O'Sullivan coming through at he same time again though.
