I would have destroyed Higgins had I played him tonight.
Be surprised if you could beat Alex Higgins
The way Higgins was playing tonight, I would have had him for breakfast. There where at least 3 or 4 frames Gilbert basically gifted Higgins. I'd have no problem clearing up from there.
But your highest break is 62.
You are a numpty
I haven't updated that in a while. My highest brake is 92.
But u don't need tons to win frames, although I'd love to make lots of them.
70's and 80's are more than enough to win frames.
Fair enough JB - you should try Q school

I know, but when you pull a leg, it tends to come away from the torso.
Very fine post mind

Hopefully Dave Gilbert isn't going on a sailing holiday this summer as he's likely to miss the boat.

We have tables in Rio, but don't know if in the favelas. I'm not from Rio, I'm from Salvador.
One of my childhood friends has a table, and that's where I learned to play.

Fair play to you Johnny - 92 is bucking impressive coming from a country where snooker is not so accessible.

Given how nervy he was tonight I can't see Gilberg holding it together under pressure tomorrow. Higgins will be pumped up.

I'm a good amateur but not sure I'd make it as a pro now given my age. Plus I don't play often enough.
I didn't actually mean I could beat Higgins, his game is far superior to mine. However, if he leaves me plum among the reds the way he did with Gilbert, I'll punish him hard. Like I said, I'm very good among the reds.

92 is impressive indeed. I can manage to get slightly above forty on a good day when I have lots of luck.

Maybe the Snookergods want Higgins to reach the final again just to lose it for the third time in a row.

That would be lovely. Another 18-16 defeat would really ram it home.

I know many players who have access to good tables, variety of opponents and they would die for a 92.
Well played sir.

They usually have tables in the big cities, but I don't know which one has the most.
Come to think about it, I'd bet most British people don't know exactly either.
Are there more tables in York or in Sheffield ? In Liverpool or in Manchester ? I think that's a very tough question to answer.
