Saturday 18th of May~Tuesday 4th of June at The Robin Park Arena and Sport Centre, Wigan, EnglandQ School has come around again with this time 16 players will be rewarded with 2 year tour cards. By playing in Q School last year James Cahill earned his chance in the World Championship as a Amataur and Qualified for the Crucible then he beat Ronnie O'Sullivan. Well that same chance is in the hands of all 218 in Q School this year.
How will it work the 4 players that wins the Quarter Final of the 3 events has a tour card that makes 12 players then the top 4 on the Order of Merit will also get a 2 year tour card had this system being used last year James Cahill would have earned a 2 year tour card in 3rd place along with David Lilley, Dechawat Poomjaeng and Adam Duffy
Players who fail to get a tour card will play on the challange tour with a place for a minimum of 64 players in each of thoes 10 events.
Zhao Xintong got through Q School last year now he is in the top 64 and made his Crucible Debut losing to Mark Selby so the chance is there now its in their hands to take it.
Players taking part this year includes Robbie McGuigan who is infact the step son of Mark Allen.
Who will get through and start living the dream or nightmare this year?
Q SCHOOL 1 DRAWQ SCHOOL 1 ORDER OF PLAYQ SCHOOL 2 DRAWQ SCHOOL 2 ORDER OF PLAYQ SCHOOL 3 DRAWQ SCHOOL 3 ORDER OF PLAY

The big event of the year is almost upon us!
Andrew Pagett v Fang Xiongman probably the tie of the day.
Both ends of the age spectrum start out with Dessie Sheehan, starting in the afternoon and the first games for Boiko and Mertens.
The 3 ladies all also start their campaigns.

Question: If Mertens qualifies would he be allowed to turn professional under the age of 16?

Ian Preece looks like he’ll be the first player to win a match. 3-0 up.
Pagett 2-0 up on Fang, so it could be a good morning for Wales.

Anyone we should be watching out for? Or is it just recycling of the Mcleods, Lilleys etc etc? And there were people complaining about Jimmy getting a wild card...

No.
I assume that means she'll get a discretionary wildcard.
Well if they gave one to Jimmy...
